Privacy Statement
Miracles by Stella does it exactly the way I want to be treated when it comes to privacy. Of course I do collect personal data from you as a customer, but I make sure that they remain neatly protected from third parties. And if I contact you, you will always find an easy way to unsubscribe.
That’s all you really need to know. I protect your data. I never share it with third parties. And you can always unsubscribe with every email. That’s the short and understandable version of this privacy statement.
Anyway, that’s not legal enough. So you’ll find an extended version of the privacy rules below. I have tried to make it as understandable as possible. If you have any questions about this, you can always email me (Judith) at judith@miraclesbystella.com.
Personal data upon registration
If you become a customer, I will ask you for your (personal) data. I do not need to know everything about you, but only what is strictly necessary to arrange your clientele as well as possible. Below you will find an overview of the personal data I need and why:
First and last name: I like to know who we do business with, I like to do business personally. It is often useful that your name is mentioned on the invoice. E-mail address: This is where I send the invoice and often also a quotation, a proposal or a confirmation of our agreements in advance. Afterwards I may email you if I want to know how you evaluate Miracles by Stella. Postal address: I hardly ever use that myself, because I often don’t deliver the products myself, but it’s nicer on the invoice, which is why I ask for it. Company name and department name: So that the invoice ends up on the right ‘mat’ and does not roam within your company. (Mobile) phone number: Only to discuss matters that are strictly necessary.
Furthermore, I mainly store the invoicing details of you or your organization. Because sometimes there are special numbers or other bureaucratic curves that I have to take to make things run smoothly. And you don’t want to have to explain that every time. So I register this neatly (but this is about your organization and not about you as a person).
Furthermore, I use your data for the following: Newsletters: If you’ve signed up for Miraculous news, you’ll receive it. You will also receive this newsletter if you have contributed as an investor to our crowdfunding campaign, I would like to keep you informed about our developments. If you don’t want to receive it (anymore), there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every newsletter. Handy, right? Reviews: We use these in two ways: to help others and to help Miracles by Stella:
You can help other people with your review. By sharing your experiences, you give others an even better idea of what Miracles by Stella can do for you. For reviews I always ask if I can publish it and if you don’t want me to, I don’t use it.
You help me enormously with your review to improve ourselves and our products. And if you give me a review that I really want to know more about, I’ll mail/call you. Sometimes just to thank you. Or to be able to apply your tips really well.
Third parties
Your personal data will only be shared with third parties in activities that are strictly necessary to carry out our business activities. And if I have to do so at all (e.g. to our accountant), all exchanges are completely ‘privacy watertight’. I have made sound agreements about this that guarantee the confidentiality of your data.
Klarna
In order to offer to pay via Klarna afterwards, I need to share certain information with Klarna, such as contact and order details. This allows Klarna to determine whether you are eligible to use this service and to offer you tailored payment options. General information about Klarna can be found here. Your personal data will of course be treated in line with the AVG and in accordance with Klarna’s own privacy statement.
Retention period
We apply a very clear rule here: we do not keep your data longer than you wish. The retention period depends on the purpose for which we received the data and any legal obligations.
Choices for personal data
I offer you the opportunity to view, change or delete any personal information you have provided to us. Please send me, Judith an email to judith@miraclesbystella.com with a request to view, change, treat and delete your personal information.
If I don’t do this properly in your opinion, I hope you will let us know. If after that you think I deserve a stand, you can file a complaint with the national supervisor, the Personal Data Authority.
Securing personal data
As our customer, you are the raison d’être of Miracles by Stella. For you I do what I do. So of course I take your privacy very seriously.
I have taken the following measures to protect your personal data:
Servers and devices I work with are equipped with up-to-date security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.
I only work with top suppliers (Siffror for our administration and Moneybird for our invoicing) who have their data security in perfect order.
And I only send your data via secure internet connections (TLS, formerly SSL). You can see this on the address bar ‘https’ and the padlock.
